Hello and welcome to my website!  In these pages you will find information and tools to assist you in learning how to make healthy lifestyle changes.

I know what it’s like to struggle with weight; I did it for decades, and the battle continues.  Yo-yo dieting, bizarre fad diets, binge eating, the negative self-image, the torturous self-deprivation… Living this way drove me to a staggering weight of 430 lbs!  So you could say I’ve “been there, done that”.

Between 2009 and 2011, I dieted and exercised off 250 pounds of excess weight. I thought I had all the answers. But while trying to reclaim my “normal” life, some of that weight crept back on. I discovered I was going about it all wrong, that how I feel is much more important than how much I weigh! That day, I threw out my scale and began the search for an eating program that fit my lifestyle and my core values, made me feel good about what I was putting in my mouth, and didn’t leave me wanting more.

It hasn’t been easy and I still stumble on my journey, but without the support of my trainer, mentors, friends and family, I wouldn’t have made it this far. I feel like George A. Custer wrote this especially for me: “It’s not how many times you get knocked down that count, it’s how many times you get back up!”
